Intro to Animals (drawing) - Winter Term

Unplug, get creative, and draw with confidence in Intro to Animals, a fun, hands-on program designed for kids ages 6 to 10 who love animals and want to learn how to draw them!
 
In this engaging class, young artists will explore the basics of animal drawing using a variety of materials and techniques. Each week focuses on a new animal and medium—ranging from pencil and pastel to marker and watercolor—helping students understand shape, proportion, texture, and expression while building strong foundational art skills.
 
Held in our bright and encouraging studio, Intro to Animals is all about creativity, curiosity, and confidence. Students are encouraged to unplug from screens, connect with others, and enjoy the calming process of drawing by hand.
 
Through guided, step-by-step instruction and plenty of room for imagination, they’ll learn how to bring their favorite creatures to life with personality and style.
 
By the end of the program, each child will have a collection of delightful animal artworks that showcase their artistic growth and unique perspective.
 
Intro to Animals is perfect for beginner artists who love animals and want to explore drawing and mixed media in a fun, supportive environment while building skills and confidence every week.
