Katie's Private Party
We're getting colourful on Saturday, March 1st for Katie's colourful paint pARTy! The booking time in the studio is 1-4PM
Schedule:
1-1:30PM: Doors open for set up and decoration. Guests encouraged to arrive during this time.1:30-3PM: Time to create! The class begins with a quick 5-10 minute intro to supplies and the studio.
3-3:45PM: Party time! Refreshments, pizza, cake, presents, etc. Guests are picked up
3:45-4PM: Cleaning party decorations/food removal/etc.
Seats fees include: canvas, paint, smocks, etc - you don't need to bring anything for the creativity!
Costs:
8X10 Guided Party | 3hrs | 10 painters included
Package fee: $300+hst
Additional Painters: $20/person (to a max 16 painters)
A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to book your event.
The balance is due 1 week before your event. Additional painters beyond the package limit may be paid for the day of the event.
The canvas size for this event is 8X10.
Canvas upgrade to 9X12 may be made on the day of the event (unless canvas are pre-drawn)
If you would like extra time in the studio beyond the 1 hour included in the package for celebration/mingling there is a $75/hr fee. Arrangements for the additional studio time must be made at least 1 week prior to your event. Time may or may not be available depending on scheduling.
We will go through the painting step-by-step together. You do not need to provide art related materials. Paint, Canvas, Smocks, etc - everything is provided!
You are welcome to bring cake, drinks, pizza, table cover etc to the studio. You will have a 6ft table available for placing your refreshments. Please avoid bringing peanuts/tree nuts in to the studio. (As participants from other events may from time-to-time bring outside food, Dragonfly cannot guarantee a nut-free facility)
Dragonfly Art Studio is an indoor-shoe friendly environment. Outdoor shoes/boots can be left at the front door on the mats to prevent mud/dirt/snow from entering the studio. Due to hygiene reasons, you cannot be barefoot. Thank you for your understanding. Indoor shoes, socks, slippers are welcome.
You will have access to the studio 30 minutes before the event for set up/arrival.
Remember this is an art studio so things are bound to get messy! Wear clothes that are okay to get painted on!
Dragonfly is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen property.
At the end of the party, when you are leaving, please ensure you bring with you all party gear/supplies/garbage (including food)/decorations. Garbage bags are available if needed. You will have 15 minutes after your event for clean up.
Please note that dumping your garbage behind the studio WILL result in a fine.
Dragonfly is responsible for all ART-RELATED clean up.

Terms & Conditions
Photos may be taken during events. The purposes are for social media and/or marketing. Children's faces will not be included in photos without consent from parent/guardian.
The Dragonfly understands that there may be typical wear and tear on the supplies used for events. If, however, there is significant damages to the studio and the studio equipment you may be billed for replacements and/or professional repairs (plumbing/electrical/etc)
Refunds
The deposit ($75) for packages is non-refundable.
For events cancelled less than 24 hours to event start time, no credit or refund is provided. Events cancelled less than 10 business days to party date will be refunded as a store credit (less $75)
If you need to cancel your event more than 10 business days from your party date, the payment will be refunded (less $75 deposit).
If, for whatever reason, the Dragonfly needs to cancel your event, you will be refunded the entire amount of your party fee except in the instance wherein your event is cancelled due to non-payment of the balance of your event.
