Portrait Methodology

C$125.00Price

Take your portrait drawing skills to the next level with Portrait Methodology, an intermediate-level class designed for kids ages 10 to 15 who want to refine their techniques and deepen their understanding of portraiture.

In this class, young artists will learn more advanced methods for creating realistic, expressive portraits while gaining a deeper appreciation for the art of capturing human features and emotions.

Held in our dedicated art studio, Portrait Methodology focuses on refining techniques like facial anatomy, proportions, and shading to create lifelike portraits.

Your young artist will dive into the intricacies of drawing features such as the eyes, nose, mouth, and ears with precision, while learning how to capture the subtle details that bring faces to life. They will also explore the importance of light and shadow, and how these elements create depth and form in a portrait.

Guided by experienced portrait artist, Rae Wright,  each session will challenge students to push their skills further, focusing on improving accuracy and expression in their work. Whether they’re drawing a portrait from life, a reference photo, or their own imagination, students will leave with the tools they need to create portraits that showcase their unique artistic vision.

Portrait Methodology is perfect for kids who have some experience with drawing and want to elevate their portraiture skills. By the end of the program, each child will have a collection of portraits that demonstrate their progress and ability to capture the true essence of their subject.

This class is ideal for students looking for a more challenging and rewarding experience in portrait drawing. No matter their previous experience, each participant will benefit from expert feedback and personalized instruction.

Sign up today for Portrait Methodology and watch your child’s portrait skills evolve as they master intermediate techniques in this engaging and empowering art class!
