New Students

For all new students joining the Dragonfly Art Studio programming, there are a few things you need to know and a few things we need to know. Check below for some important details.

Before session, the doors will open 15 minutes before start time. Classes begin promptly at their designated times. Late arrivals would mean creatives miss the warm ups which are crucial in understanding the hand gestures and specific techniques.

Dragonfly Art Studio is an indoor shoe-friendly facility. Outside boots/shoes can be left at the front. Indoor shoes, slippers, and socks may be worn in the studio.

Please ensure participants are dressed prepared to get colourful! Dragonfly cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen property.
All young creatives will be encouraged to follow the lesson plan, however there may be times when they would like to pursue specific interests. Participants are free to engage in alternative artistic exercises provided they utilize the materials of the day. Guidance will be given.

Most programming is a drop-off. Unless other arrangements have been made due to your child's physical/emotional/other needs please note that there is limited capacity within the studio.

Parents/caregivers are asked not to interfere with their children's artistic explorations.

Pick up must be done promptly at the session end time. There are other programs running in the studio and a schedule must be followed.

The Dragonfly Art Studio has an accessible parking space and curb just outside the door however, the main door to the studio is not automatic.
If you need assistance, please call 519-546-3559 and Rae will meet you at the door.

There are tables and easels that are easily adjustable and moveable in the studio to accommodate mobility devices.

Please note that the washroom within the studio is not a designated accessible washroom.
