Acrylic Animals - Spring Term

Acrylic Animals is an intermediate art program for young artists who want to build confidence and skill in acrylic painting while creating expressive animal artwork.
Each week, students learn guided painting techniques on a pre-sketched canvas that focus on layering paint, colour mixing, texture, and detail. Artists will explore how to paint fur, feathers, patterns, and backgrounds while bringing animals to life using acrylic paint on canvas.
Held in a bright and encouraging studio, this class challenges students to slow down, observe carefully, and experiment with techniques while continuing to grow their artistic skills.
By the end of the program, each child will take home a collection of detailed acrylic animal paintings that showcase their progress, creativity, and developing painting style.
Recommended for artists ages 8–13 with some prior art experience.
