Dynamic Portraits - Spring Term

Dynamic Portraits is an intermediate art program for young artists with some prior drawing experience who want to build on foundational skills to create realistic and expressive portraits.
Each week, students explore guided techniques that focus on facial proportions, shading, expressions, features, and capturing personality. Artists will practice using pencils, markers, and other drawing tools to develop depth, form, and realistic textures in hair, skin, and clothing.
Held in a bright and encouraging studio, this class challenges students to observe carefully, refine technique, and experiment with artistic style, helping them build confidence and advance their portrait skills.
By the end of the program, each child will take home a collection of polished portrait drawings that showcase their growing technical skill, creativity, and attention to detail.
Recommended for artists ages 10–15 with some prior drawing experience.
