Intro to Art

Intro to Art is the perfect foundation for young artists ages 8–13 who want to explore a variety of creative techniques and build their artistic skills!
 
Each week, students will discover the fundamentals of art through hands-on projects using a range of mediums, including drawing with graphite, acrylic, watercolour, pastels, and more. They’ll explore important concepts like line, shape, colour, texture, value, form, and composition while creating artwork inspired by exciting themes and ideas.
 
Through guided instruction and creative challenges, artists will develop stronger observation skills, learn new techniques, and gain confidence in their ability to bring their ideas to life.
 
Designed for curious creators of all skill levels, Intro to Art provides the perfect balance of skill-building and creative exploration in a fun, supportive studio environment.
