Nerdy Animals

Nerdy Animals is the perfect class for young artists ages 8–13 who love animals, creativity, and adding their own quirky twist!
 
In this fun and imaginative painting class, students will create unique animal artwork while learning important art fundamentals like colour theory, proportion, composition, and painting techniques.
 
Each project will feature a new unusual, adorable, or “nerdy” animal-inspired theme, encouraging artists to experiment with personality, patterns, and creative details. Students will learn how to use colour choices, shapes, and proportions to bring their animals to life while developing stronger painting skills.
 
Through step-by-step instruction and creative challenges, artists will build confidence, improve their observation skills, and discover how to combine realistic techniques with their own imagination.
