Wildling Ink - Winter Term

Unleash your creativity with Wildling Ink, a hands-on class designed for kids ages 10 to 15 who want to explore the expressive art of ink illustration!
 
In this exciting program, young artists will learn how to bring characters, creatures, and imaginative scenes to life using a variety of ink pens—from bold brush pens to precise fineliners.
 
Held in our vibrant studio, Wildling Ink focuses on developing the skills needed to draw with confidence, precision, and creativity. Students will experiment with different inking tools and techniques to create bold line work, dramatic contrast, and intricate details that make their artwork stand out.
 
Through step-by-step instruction and creative projects, they’ll discover how to design dynamic and striking illustrations that tell visual stories full of energy and imagination.
 
Throughout the program, artists will explore key techniques such as line weight, cross-hatching, stippling, and shading to add depth and texture to their work. Each class encourages students to develop their own artistic voice through ink.
 
With expert guidance, every student will gain confidence in their drawing and inking abilities while learning to embrace the expressive nature of this bold medium. By the end of the class, they’ll have a collection of original ink artworks that showcase their creativity and growth as young illustrators.
