Wildling Ink - Winter

Bring the wild to life, one line at a time! Wildling Ink is an illustration program for young artists ages 10–15 who want to explore the art of drawing realistic wildlife with ink.

In this hands-on class, artists will learn to use a variety of illustration pens to create detailed, three-dimensional drawings of wild animals. From fine lines and stippling to cross-hatching, shading, and texture, each session introduces new techniques to help artists capture the unique features, fur, feathers, and scales of their favourite wildlife subjects.

With step-by-step instruction in a welcoming studio environment, artists will explore how line weight, contrast, light, and shadow can transform simple outlines into detailed, dimensional illustrations. Through guided projects and creative experimentation, they'll strengthen their observation skills, develop their drawing techniques, and gain confidence in their artistic abilities.

Wildling Ink encourages young artists to discover the beauty of wildlife through the expressive possibilities of ink illustration. No previous experience is needed!
